The Ontology Engineering Group is at the top-ten of research groups at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). It is based on the School of Computer Science at UPM. Its research areas cover Ontological Engineering, Semantic Web and Linked Data, Semantics in Open Science, and Data-Driven Language Technologies. We have developed applications in a wide range of domains, including knowledge management, environment, e-commerce, job market, funding, geospatial, libraries, etc.

The OEG offers a 6-month contract for the creation of data in Linked GTFS format from GTFS data.

Task to be developed:

• Creation of data in Linked GTFS format from GTFS data.
• Automation of the management and loading of RDF data in "triple stores"
• Creation of ontologies related to data formats such as FSM, SIRI / TRIAS, etc., taking into account at all times a possible alignment with the set of Transmodel ontologies
• Transformation of data available in GTFS to the data model defined by the TransModel ontology and any of its extensions
• Training activities on the Chimaera transformation tools and related to RML and R2RML processing
