Carlos Badenes Olmedo is a member of Ontology Engineering Group (OEG) in Universidad Politécnica de Madrid where he finished his studies of Master in Artificial Intelligence (2015). He is a Computer Science Engineer (2006) in the same institution.

Previously he participated as software architect in the industry in projects oriented to handle massive real-time data and Machine-to-Machine (M2M) communications for more than eight years. Also, he colaborates in the "Technology for Development and Cooperation" (TEDECO)) group as software engineer mainly oriented to data mining tasks in *Call Detail Records* (CDRs).

His research interest is focused on the Ontology Engineering, Machine Learning, Information Retrieval, Exploratory Search and Recommender Systems.

Projects

In the context of his research lines, nowadays he is participating in the following research projects:

  • DrInventor: a personal research assistant utilising machine-empowered search and computation to make useful recommendations based on previously published documents using ontology learning and ontology matching algorithms.
