Daniel Garijo is an FPU scholarship holder at the Artificial Intelligence Department of the Computer Science Faculty of Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, in the Ontology Engineering Group of this faculty.

Previously he worked in Telefonica I+D for a year developing mobile applications. He is an engineer in Computer Science (2009) by Universidad Complutense de Madrid, and he obtained a master in Arificial Intelligence Research Master at UPM (2011).

His research activities focus on e-Science and the Semantic Web, specifically on how to increase the understandability of scientific workflows using provenance, metadata, intermediate results and Linked Data.

Projects

In the context of his research lines, he is currently participating in the following research projects:

  • Wf4Ever: propose and develop a software architecture and reference implementation for the preservation and efficient retrieval and reuse of digital libraries of scientific workflows.
  • Web N+1(UPM). Project which goal is to support the lifecycle of every new content in the Web, from its origin until its exploitiation.
Previously he worked in the next project:
  • Keteke (Telefónica): Telefónica's social network, which allowed the usage of a wide range of mobile platforms to upload new contents to de web.
