Beatriz is a PhD student at Ontology Engineering Group. She has a Bachelor and a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from Faculdade de Ciências e Tecnologia, NOVA University of Lisbon (2017). Previously worked at Altran and Closer Consulting / BNP Paribas as a data scientist / data analyst (2017-2019).

She joined the Ontology Engineering Group (OEG) of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid in January 2020 to work on the project PROTECT - Protecting Personal Data Amidst Big Data Innovation.
