The Ontology Engineering Group is at the top-ten of research groups at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). It is based on the School of Computer Science at UPM. Its research areas cover Ontological Engineering, Semantic Web and Linked Data, Semantics in Open Science, and Data-Driven Language Technologies. We have developed applications in a wide range of domains, including knowledge management, environment, e-commerce, job market, funding, geospatial, libraries, etc.

The OEG offers a 6-month contract for a study in depth the different products that are being offered by big data integration companies, and their workflows.

• Study what small companies working on semantic labeling or data integration are offering currently, as well as their current customers.
• Build a compatible software on top of the products of the big data integration players, for using by companies in the global EIT Digital ecosystem.
