The Ontology Engineering Group is at the top-ten of research groups at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). It is based on the School of Computer Science at UPM. Its research areas cover Ontological Engineering, Semantic Web and Linked Data, Semantics in Open Science, and Data-Driven Language Technologies. We have developed applications in a wide range of domains, including knowledge management, environment, e-commerce, job market, funding, geospatial, libraries, etc.

Task to be developed:

• Deployment of hardware and software infrastructure to support research tasks in the development of ontologies and algorithms based on them
• Creation and maintenance of data management plans and Open Science services
• Deployment of services based on ontologies related to the research tools created
• Connection with Open Science tools for the execution of experiments
• Transformation, loading and maintenance of data in RDF and triple stores
• Publication of ontologies and common data models
