REQUIRED EDUCATION LEVEL:

  • Main Research field: Computer sciences (Level: Doctor)

SKILLS:

  • The person must have a research background in ontological engineering and software development experience.
  • Teamwork skills, initiative, flexibility, communication skills, and the ability to work as part of a multinational and multidisciplinary team will be an asset.
  • A good level of spoken and written English (at least B2) is essential.

SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS::

Candidates must be tax resident in Spain, or willing to become tax resident in Spain. The office work location is in Boadilla del Monte, near Madrid, Spain.

We are looking for a postdoctoral researcher who wants to develop a research line in any of the following topics (or combination of them):

  • .- Visual representation of ontologies (notations, views, image generation, browsing, etc.).
  • .- Visual ontology design patterns (specification, identification, testing, publication, use, etc.).
  • .- Ontology testing (refactoring, automation, conformance, certification, etc.).
  • Besides, the researcher will be expected to take on both research and development tasks. Software systems will be developed to support both ontology engineering and usage.
